Welcome to the Registration for the 2020 Retreat.


 

Please read all the registration information.  The registration form is at the bottom of this page.

Each attendee should fill out a registration form.

Cost:

The cost for the retreat, if postmarked on or before January 7, is $90.00. If postmarked on or before February 7, it is $95.00. The final registration cost is $105.   All registrations must be received by February 26th.  We cannot accommodate walk-ins.

Hotel reservations for the newly renovated rooms are made by calling the Hawthorn Suites (920-303-1133).  Be sure to let them know that you are with the Pathways to Christ Retreat. Also, whoever is making the reservation must give the Hawthorn Suites the names of all the ladies who will be sharing your room. If their name is not listed under that room, they cannot check in separately.

Although we hope that all ladies attending the retreat will be able to come for the entire weekend, we realize that for some scheduling presents a problem. So that we can make it possible to share in this enriching experience with as many ladies as possible, we are again offering several options for attending the retreat.  Please circle the option you plan to attend. You can indicate whether you are coming for the entire weekend, 2 days – Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday, or only Saturday. (Saturday does include the entertainment.) The costs for those options are indicated on the registration form. We stress that these options are available for those who cannot share in the entire weekend retreat. We want to encourage all attendees to share in the full weekend retreat.

Reserved Seating:

Because our attendance has been near capacity, all tables have reserved/assigned seating.  This is the only way we can guarantee that seating requests will be honored.   Maximum seating number at a table is eight.  There needs to be a group leader for each seating request.  The group leader must submit all names in her group at the time of registration.  We will still offer a few Mixer Tables for those ladies coming by themselves or with one other person.  There are no accommodations for walk-ins.  For more information on seating, please refer to the tab on the top marked “Seating”.

Clothing: 

There are three styles of shirts that you can order: a ladies  V-neck tee shirt, a uni-sex 3/4 sleeve baseball t-shirt or a uni-sex sweatshirt. A tote bag ($7.00) is also available. You can send one check for your registration and clothing order.  Colored pictures of the clothing are available on the  “Apparel tab”. 

Banquet Meal (Three Options):

 1. Butternut Squash Ravioli*

3.  Whiskey Chuck Tender Steak

The asterisk (*) indicates this meal can be made gluten free. Note that you want gluten free under “special needs” on your registration form.

Free-will Offering: A free-will offering will be taken for the Seminary Scholarship Fund and MLC. This year we will offer an additional option.  We are also collecting items for the pantry at the Seminary. Items needed are: Paper towels, t-paper, tissues, diapers (sizes N,1,3-6 and pull-ups), fruit juice, coffee/tea, cold cereal, oatmeal, peanut butter, laundry detergent, Hamburger Helper, pasta sauce. Gift cards for purchasing fresh food items are also greatly appreciated. We will have a collection box at the retreat for your donations.   

Accommodations:

Hotel reservations for the newly renovated rooms are made separately. In order to get the special room rates ($79.90 – $139.90) per night for 1-4 per room, contact the Hawthorn Inn and state that you are with the Pathways to Christ retreat. The phone number for the Hawthorn Inn is (920) 303-1133.

Cancellations:

Retreat cancellations received prior to February 7, 2020 will receive a full refund for the retreat expenses. From February 7 to February 29 only the meals portion will be refunded. After February 29, no refunds will be issued. If you do need to cancel, you may find your own substitute.  If it is after the deadline, you may also check with us to see if we have anyone on our waiting list.  Please inform us in advance of any cancellations.   Hotel cancellations need to be made with the hotel. 

Scholarship fund:
Ladies requesting some assistance should call Paula Nimmer at (920-233-1069). All requests must be submitted by January 7, 2020. (One request per family/household). If you would like to assure that we have funds available to assist others in attending the retreat, please consider a donation to the Dorothy Mueller Scholarship Fund.

Free Time:

Thai Village Crafts will again have a display at the retreat on Friday night and Saturday until 3:30.  Water Aerobics, hosted by Kelly Rickert,  are scheduled for 6:15 – 6:45 Saturday and Sunday morning.

What To Bring:

This is a relaxed and informal weekend; however, you may choose to dress less casual for the Saturday evening banquet and Sunday morning worship service.  Dress in layers to accommodate the room temperature in the Banquet Hall.  Bring your Bibles.
